Census Mapping Operations

The main objective of this activity is to ensure that the whole country will be covered
during the enumeration time. It involves dividing the whole country into small
geographical areas consisting of 100 – 200 households (Maximum: Rural = 150
Households, Urban = 200 Households). Each of these areas must have clearly identifiable
boundaries and will be assigned to an interviewer during the census count. For this
reason, strong cooperation and collaboration with the local leadership up to the village
level is crucial. This operation will only succeed with the support, assistance and
cooperation of the local communities.
